Frias and Popovich (Texas Tech University) present at Rawls Diversity Symposium
Kelli Frias and research partner Deidre Popovich presented their work on healthcare accessibility and affordability at the 8th Annual Rawls Diversity Symposium hosted by the Rawls College of Business at Texas Tech University. According to the school's LinkedIn, the Symposium helps students and community members "learn how to build more diverse, equitable and inclusive environments in the workplace and in academia" and features various interactive events and presentations.
Frias and Popovich, Principal Investigators at the HealthCARE Lab, specifically discussed their work on United States-Mexico border residents’ utilization of the Mexican healthcare system as well as the perceptions around religious affiliation and service quality.
